Darius’ StoryLAB is Darius M. Buckley’s online writer’s studio and independent publishing company. Darius is a dramatist and published author. Darius has published three books: HAZE Book One, Only The Golden Sky Knows and Wonder Boy: A Science Fiction Short, through the StoryLAB. His short stories and serialized fiction, The Prince of Harlem, release weekly on Kindle Vella. He’s also launched two original audio book fiction podcasts: HAZE and Project It Guy. Darius has continued development on The Fly & Incredibly Dope Adventures of Tyrone Jenkins, a musical that opened at CMU in 2017 and his New York playwriting debut, The Bridge. His MFA thesis, Leo’s Requiem, had a workshop premiere at Columbia’s 2024 New Play Festival! His play in verse, 18, won a spot in the final 6 of the Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival and will be published and licensed by Concord Theatricals. Darius is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts at Columbia University with a concentration in Playwriting.
