2021 EQuity scholarship competition
I’m so honored to have been chosen as an honorable mention for the 2021 EQuity Scholarship Competition. Sharing this story was empowering and having the opportunity to reflect on my emotional growth has been cathartic. We have come so far in our fight for social justice. This essay details an incident that was burned in my memory but has taught me use my voice to make a change in this world. Our lives matter and we will continue to speak out until they hear us.
